Piper Colt PA22-108 This 1961 Piper Colt had been owned by a Mike Huffman's former partner in the Steen Skybolt shown on the Gallery page. Mike had flown the Colt extensively in the 1970s and 80s. However, it sat for several years without flying. In its later years, the nose gear and the right main were damaged in an off-airport landing, as well as the propeller, carburetor, engine mount, lower cowling, boot cowl, and other parts. Mike repaired the damage, repainted the airplane, installed a new interior, and refurbished the instrument panel. The restoration was completed in July 2006.
