Boeing N2S-3 Restoration
This Boeing N2S-3 restoration was done by Mike Huffman in 1980 for the clients pictured. The project started with only a bare fuselage frame that had been altered for cropdusting. The restoration included returning the fuselage to its factory configuration, building a complete new set of wings, and acquiring other parts and pieces from various sources around the country. The aircraft won the Best Military Classic award at Oshkosh in 1980.
